To provide the best safety, quality, and durability of your candle, please follow these guidelines below:
- For its first light, be sure to let the candle burn until the wax on the entire surface is completely liquid. Burning the candle for 2 to 3 hours will allow your candle to burn evenly the next time to avoid tunneling.
- Keep those wicks short! Using a wick cutter, trim the wick to 3-5 mm or about 1/4 an inch. Trimming the wick will let the candle burn longer and prevent the wick from sooting
- NEVER burn a candle unattended.
- NEVER let the candle burn in excess of 4 hours at a time as it can overheat the glass container and can be dangerous. Overheating can also shorten fragrance lifespan by heating up too much wax at a single time.
- When 1/4 inch of wax remains or the wick holder is visible, the candle is at the end of its lifespan.
- Place your candles in a draft-free location (away from AC, fans, high traffic areas) in order to prevent the wax from melting unevenly.
- Always place your candle on a heat-resistant, non-flammable surface AWAY from fabrics, curtains and your beloved pets.
- Do NOT place a candle on a cold surface, such as marble or glass. If a hot candle contacts with a cold surface, the glass has the potential to shatter.
